When I was a kid, fruit trees were everywhere.
With the lifestyles in latter years changing dramatically, we have been robbed of a heritage. Space has become an optimum, as has time. We live in smaller confines and the demands placed on our time has accelerated, not to mention the need to conserve water. The dollar is shrinking with value at the checkout and freshness is a by-word locked in the refrigerators and cool rooms of food distributors and wholesalers. What ever happened to taste?
Dwarf fruit and nut trees are a natural alternative to bigger full size trees, the fruit is full size (and prolific) and a helicopter is not needed to pick the fruit. No waste to attract fruit fly, and when the tree is grown in pots/containers it is you controlling your own environment, not the other way round! There is little to no pruning, maybe a little attention to insecticide now and again, other than that, just water and feed. And they will grow no higher than 2.5m-3m regardless if you fertilize them, talk and even pray to them – and last for a very long time!
Most trees will bear in their second year and in the third year, look out! So we have set out to supply the Australian marketplace with the best trees available, allowing everyone to enjoy the pleasure of growing your very own fruit despite your living conditions, and with an unsurpassed variety of species which are dead-set easy to grow, we have selected the best resellers in areas to sell our product, and produce a first class back-up service via booklets and faqs, cultural tags and web site for information on your purchase – it is our guarantee to you of successful results!
There are just 5 rules to abide by in the growing of our trees:
1. Always use premium potting mix only – no cheap stuff!
2. Always make sure there is plenty of drainage for your tree if in the ground or in a pot. If in pots, make sure the pot is slightly elevated to allow for drainage and air circulation and never let the pot stand in a water dish or water container.
3. The minimum size for the growing of our fruit trees in pots or containers is 40cm, be it plastic or ceramic.
4. Fertilise or feed once every quarter with a good soluble fruit fertilizer.
5. Use common sense!
These trees enjoy the sun and are sun hardened at the farm prior to distribution to our resellers. Some of the varieties you may have not heard of before but each tree variety has been researched and trialled to ensure both quality and productivity. We make sure the trees sold here by your reseller are perfectly okay for your locality, environment and climatic conditions.
The trees are grown by experts prior to distribution by resellers, either at our own properties or the properties of our highly qualified contractors, most of which are productive leaders in their field. They are inspected for quality at all times and that quality tree is now in your possession – enjoy the years of harvest.
We are proud of what we are achieving and look forward to any suggestions you may have. We can be contacted at all times either via phone, fax or email.
"Now – just add sun, soil and water!"
